a much needed update
22 Nov 2025 A lot has happened since we last posted on the progress of the building works…Here finally un update:
In May, two missionaries from Grace Baptist Mission (GBM) and a council member visited to meet the elders and learn more about our project. GBM later granted us £30,000 towards the construction of Phase Two, which includes the addition of a kitchen and dining hall, as well as space for the microPOD printing system (from Publish4All, USA) and print shop. We were able to complete its foundation from within the Phase One budget and have raised roughly half of the funds needed to complete this part.
We are very thankful that the construction of Phase One—the conference hall—is now in its final stages. We were very grateful for a team of 16 volunteers from the Netherlands and Paris who came to help us this past month. Thanks to their help, we anticipate the hall will be ready for a conference hosted by Ligonier Ministries (USA) in December for approximately 300 pastors. During the conference, Ligonier Ministries will distribute the new French Reformation Study Bible. This inaugural event will also introduce the new Tyrannus facilities to many pastors from this region in Togo.

We have been amazed to see how God has provided the funds needed to purchase a 40’ container and fill it with good second-hand furnishings and supplies for the Tyrannus project. It is currently on its way from the Netherlands, and we expect its arrival in the middle of December.
We are also currently raising funds for the purchase and shipment of the print-on-demand system from Publish4All, which we hope to be able to install by mid 2027. For the latest update on our financial progress, please visit this page
